Why people committing crime?
Why
people committing crime?
Introduction:
Society prepares the crime, the
criminal commits it. Crime refers to many types of misconduct forbidden by law.
Cause
for committing a crime:
There
are certain factors like our societies, cultures, system, economy, are
responsible for crime. I have chosen only social causes, because from my point
of view only the social factors create the criminals.
1. Poverty
2. Drug and
alcohol abuse
3. Violence in
the home
4. Mental disturbance
5. Emotional
stress lack of education
6. Recidivism
Poverty:
Poverty
is often blamed for leading to crime. Unemployment is another factor in this
category that contributes to crime through looking ways to earn money by any
means possible
Drugs and alcohol:
Some
social factors pose a strong influence over a person's ability. Drug and
alcohol abuse such factor. Both drugs and alcohol gives a person greater
courage to commit a crime.
Income and education:
Many
prisoners could not read or write in school levels. The most common crimes are
committed by these criminals. Because of their poor educational backgrounds,
and low wage jobs with frequent periods of unemployment.
Imbalance:
Most
criminals are simply strong in physically, but not enough in mental and
emotional muscles. The reason why their strength becomes weakness is because
they are not balanced.
Poor parenting skills:
Harsh
discipline, lack of parental control, supervision and monitoring, parental
conflict, family breakdown, is also one of the causes of crime.
Movies focus on crime:
The
movies focus on crime causation but it did not emphasize the important role
that it has in influencing anti-social behaviors.

Concept of morality and crime
Morality and Crime

Morality
is a normative and universal sense. Morality refers to an ideal code of
conduct. Morality is an understanding, which is the basis of social order.
Definition of morality:
Morality
is an understanding's beliefs about what is right (what should do) and what is
wrong (what should not do) so controls the actions of the understanding by
society, religion, or individual conscience.
Morality
showing what kind of behaviour and conduct is best for a human being as well as
the society.
1. Morality presents the character of a person.
2. Morality show all the weak and strong sides of the
character of a person.
3. Morality is the beliefs of an understanding.
4. Morality is religion in practice.
Religion propagates virtue and is mortality in principle.
Almost all
crime is considered as violation of morality. Crime is an immoral and harmful
act for the society. It is an injury for the society in moral sense opinion by
community. Everywhere homicide is an act against morality as well as crime
except if it done in exercise of private defence. Though all crime is immoral
acts, all immoral acts may not be crimes. For example disobeying parents is an
immoral act but not crime.
As George
Herbert said, "dare to be true, nothing can need a lie."
However, truth comes from people with morals only. Lies can come from anyone.
